Compostable barrier bag.

These 100% compostable and biodegradable roll bags are ideal barrier bags for supermarkets and butchers. They contain corn starch and are certified home and commercial compostable.

300 Bags/Roll

These roll bags contain GMO-free corn starch, PLA and PBAT and are suitable for both commercial and home composting. They contain extra microns for strength and are strong enough to hold 3-5kg of meat or product. They come ready on a cardboard core to conveniently fit behind-the-counter supermarket bag roll holders.

Please note that compostable bags can no longer be used by consumers to carry home fresh produce from NZ grocers or supermarkets (but can be used to pre-pack goods). This compostable bag range is designed to breakdown in approximately 90 - 180 days (depending on compost environment). Composting results in organic components being released (carbon dioxide and water) with no harmful residues.
